LYNETTE GLOVER PULLIAM MEEKS

Mrs. Lynette Glover Pulliam Meeks, age 88, of Sandersville passed away on Monday, August 14, 2023, in a local hospital following a brief illness. Funeral services to celebrate her life will be held on Friday, August 18th at 2:00 P.M. in the Piney Mount United Methodist Church of Tennille with burial in the Church Cemetery. Reverend Gary Lee Griffin will officiate. Pallbearers will be Trent Brown, Josh Edwards, Caleb Meeks, Russell Meeks, Ronnie Peavy, and Thomas W. Pulliam. The family will receive friends on Friday from 1:00 P.M. until the hour of service at the Piney Mount United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Meeks was a native of Jefferson County, Georgia, the daughter of the late Nelson Glover and the late Bessie May Glover. She was a longtime Supervisor of the Royal Manufacturing Company. Lynette attended the Piney Mount United Methodist Church. Mrs. Meeks was preceded in death by her grandson, Coleman Clark Pulliam; and sisters, Annette Peavy, Virginia Fox, and Marian Teuton.

Survivors include her daughter, Donna Ann Pulliam of Sandersville; son, Buddy Pulliam and wife Miriam of Sandersville; stepson, Russell Meeks; grandchildren, Michae Edwards, Thomas “Tadpole” Pulliam and wife Brittany, Caleb Meeks, and Elizabeth Denny; great-grandchildren, Trent Brown, Emma Kate Mimbs, Tucker Pulliam, Hadley Pulliam, and Henry Pulliam; granddaughter-in-law, Tiffany Pulliam; and siblings, Evelyn Petrea, Betty Brooks, Charles Glover, Danny Glover, Marguerite Garner, Glenda Shields, Mickey Rudolph, Beth Thomas, Janice Richardson, and Marinelle Thomas.
