
Mr. Larry Battle, Jr., age 46, of Sandersville passed away on Tuesday, January 14, 2025 in Denver, Colorado. Funeral services to celebrate his life will be held on Tuesday, January 28 at 11:00 a.m. in the Deliverance Center of Jesus Christ of Sandersville. Interment will be held on Wednesday, January 29 at 11:00 a.m. in the Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery of Milledgeville. Visitation will be held on Monday, January 27 from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in the L.M. Pierce Funeral Home.
Mr. Battle was born on August 7, 1978, to the late Larry Lee Battle, Sr. and Annie Grace Foster. He was a 1997 graduate of the Washington County High School. Larry served his country for six years as a member of the United States Army. Mr. Battle worked as a Nurse Practitioner, traveling across the United States. At the time of his passing, he was employed by the Advent Health Porter Hospital in Denver, Colorado. Larry was a member of Deliverance Center of Jesus Christ, where he was ordained as a Minister. Mr. Battle will be remembered as a God-fearing, fun-loving, and intelligent friend to all. He was preceded in death by his father, Larry Lee Battle, Sr., and niece, Janiya Battle.
Survivors include his son, Kaiden Alexander Battle; mother, Annie Grace Cooper; step-father, Daniel Cooper; siblings, Andre Battle and wife Tabe, Antiko Battle and wife Sherry, Antjuan Battle and wife Andrea, Danyell Battle, Kimberly Battle, Ronnie Hall and wife Marlaina, and Quaniece Burney; aunts, Mary Harris, Martha Durden, Jane Hicks and husband Kenneth, Linda Strowbridge, Kathy Thomas, Angelina James, Lisa Miller, Nattie Wooten, Latonya Miller and husband James, Debbie Kitchens, Shirley Mincey and husband Glynn, Rose Carter and husband Lee, Jeanette Foster, and Aretha M. Hill; uncles, Floyd Battle and wife Marie, Willie Kitchens and wife Sheila, Samuel Cooper, Bobby Cooper, Jr., Edgar Cooper and wife Sarah, and Johnny Hill; ten nieces; 11 nephews; special cousins, Derrick Battle and Antonio Lamar; devoted friends, Steve Whitaker, Jr., Bobby Cannida, and Dedrick Wadley; and a host of great-aunts, great-uncles, cousins, and friends.
