Washington County Sheriff’s Office Seeking Public Assistance in Locating Two Individuals

** On Thursday, September 17, a news release from the Milledgeville Police Department stated that a body, believed to be the body of LaTorra “Torra” Tillman, was found found in a heavily-wooded area near the 300 block of Doles Boulevard. The cause of death is unknown at this time. Clemmon Jamar Hunt, 26-years of age, was charged with felony murder.

** At 9:21 P.M. on Friday, September 18, Washington County Sheriff Joel Cochran announced in a post to social media that James Elroy Rodgers had been safely located.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public to assist in locating two missing persons.

James Elroy Rodgers, a white male, was last seen on Friday, September 11 in Sandersville. He was wearing a blue t-shirt, grey shorts, and white shoes. Rodgers has long, dark hair. He is diagnosed with schizophrenia.

LaTorra “Torra” Tillman was last seen on Doles Boulevard in Milledgeville. She is a 33 year old African American female with brown eyes and black hair. Tillman is 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs 130 pounds.

The two missing persons cases are unrelated.
