Mr. Alfred Dixon, affectionately known as “Bill”, passed away on Friday, January 29, 2021. Graveside funeral services were held on Monday, February 8, 2021 at 11:00 AM at the Robin Spring Baptist Church with Minister Tommy Barnes officiating.
He was born on April 15, 1956 in Sandersville, Georgia to the late Mr. Ostranda Dixon and the late Mrs. Mary Watts Dixon. Bill had a love of working with his hands, whether landscaping, mechanics, or carpentry. He was preceded in death by one sister, Mrs. Annie Pearl Cuyler and one brother, Mr. John Watts, Jr.
Mr. Dixon leaves to cherish his memories, two sisters, Mrs. Shirley A. Johnson and Ms. Cynthia Dixon, Sandersville, Georgia; four brothers, Mr. Henry (Agnes) Watts, Mr. Clarence (Elizabeth Ann) Watts, and Mr. Tommy (Brenda) Dixon, Sandersville, Georgia, and Mr. Larry (Mae) London, Stone Mountain, Georgia; godmother, Mrs. Gladys Butts; god sister, Ms. Teresa Butts; devoted friends, Pearl, Rosie, Bobbie, Delois, Doris, Albert, Reverend Melvin Gatson, Pickens, Mississippi, Mrs. Diamond Patterson and family; and an abundance of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
