Mrs. Doris Jordan passed away on Saturday, January 1, 2022, at the University of Illinois Hospital in Chicago, Illinois. Funeral services were held on Saturday, January 29, 2022, at 2:00 P.M. at the M. C. Smith Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Henry L. Tanner officiating. Interment was held at Union Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Jordan was born December 7, 1944, to the parentage of the late Ms. Anne Rose James. She was a longtime nurse of thirty (30) years. Doris loved helping people in any fashion possible. Mrs. Jordan was preceded in death by her daughter, Ms. Darlene Jordan; aunt, Mrs. Hattie Bell Harris; and uncles, Mr. Jessie James, Jr., Mr. Bobby James, Mr. Horace James, Mr. George James, Mr. Alex James, Mr. Albert James, and Mr. Morace James.
Mrs. Jordan leaves cherished memories to a devoted aunt, Mrs. Jewel Lucas, Chicago, Illinois; other aunts, Mrs. Catherine James, Tennille, Mrs. Geraldine James, Tennille, and Mrs. Erin James, Tennille; and a host of cousins, other relatives, and friends.
