
Mrs. Tinnie P. Taylor gained Heavenly wings upon her entering eternal rest on Friday, May 6, 2022. Graveside funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 14, 2022, at 11:00 A.M. in the Woodlawn Garden Cemetery with Reverend Darrell Mitchell officiating. Viewings will be held on Thursday, May 12 and Friday, May 13 from 9:00 A.M. to 7:00 P.M. in the M.C. Smith Funeral Home.
Tinnie was born on September 1, 1945, to the parentage of the late Mr. Tobie Davis, Sr. and the late Mrs. Martha Davis. She was a graduate of the T.J. Elder High School, Class of 1964. Mrs. Taylor was a longtime employee in the Washington County Public School System. She was recognized by many as a talented dancer. Tinnie was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Allen Taylor; brother, Mr. Tobie Davis, Jr.; and sister, Mrs. Essie B. Taylor.
Mrs. Taylor leaves to cherish her memories a daughter, Ms. Cynthia Y. Taylor, Sandersville; son, Mr. Christopher (Kimbley) Taylor, Sandersville; sisters, Ms. Katie L. Davis, Tampa, Florida and Mrs. Rachel (Robert) Smith, Boston, Massachusetts; brothers, Mr. Willie L. (Lois) Davis, Riverdale and Mr. Larry Davis, Sandersville; nieces, Mrs. Brenda (Anderson) Love, Hilton Head, South Carolina, Mrs. Tracy (Charles) Payne, Desoto, Texas, Ms. Patricia Taylor, Angier, North Carolina, and Mrs. Saketha (Ray) Crankfield, Jackson; nephews, Mr. Kennie (Sandy) Taylor, Sandersville, Mr. Clinton Taylor, Jr., Sandersville, Mr. Kennie Davis, Boston, Massachusetts, and Mr. Marcus Davis, Atlanta: sisters-in-law, Mrs. Helen (George) James, Sr., Tennille and Mrs. Bessie Jordan, Sandersville; brother-in-law, Mr. Charles (Patricia) Taylor, Milledgeville; and a host of other relatives and friends.
