Mr. Cornelius Hicks, affectionately known as “Neal”, passed away on Thursday, November 24, 2022, at Augusta University Medical Center. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, November 27 at 3:00 P.M. in the New Birth Christian Ministries of Tennille with Senior Pastor Patrick Wilson officiating. The body will lie in state from 2:00 P.M. until the hour of the service.
Mr. Hicks is survived by his wife, The Honorable Eartha Cummings-Hicks of Tennille; children, Keon Hicks of Dublin, Shakial Wicker of Sandersville, Nicholas Hicks of Warner Robins, Cardenal Coleman, Jr. of Atlanta, and Exavyer Coleman of Atlanta; brother, Derrick Carlyle of Hepzibah; aunt, Fannie Carlyle of Davisboro; uncle, Joe Carlyle of Davisboro; and a host of other relatives and friends.
