Mrs. Ann Yarley Williams, age 85, of Sandersville, died Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at Washington County Extended Care Facility. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 15th at 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Gilead Primitive Baptist Church with burial in the Church Cemetery. Elder Kenneth Brantley will officiate. Pallbearers will be Frank Young, John Wilson, Emmitt Hall, Lynn Brantley, Will Hall and David Brantley.
Mrs. Williams was born in Guyton and raised in Savannah. She is the daughter of the late Dibble Boyd Yarley Sr. and the late Annie Mathews Yarley. She spent her life as a homemaker and a loving wife and mother. Ann was an active member of Mt. Gilead Primitive Baptist Church. She was an avid bridge player and loved to cook.
Mrs. Williams is survived by her husband of 67 years, H. Milton Williams Jr. of Sandersville; sons, Henry Milton “Hank” Williams III and his wife Nancy of Panama City Beach FL., and Mark Boyd Williams and his wife Holly of Dalton; grandchildren, Mark B. Williams Jr. and his wife Katelyn of Athens, Kathryn W. Ryan and her husband Jordan of Dalton and Christopher Williams of Atlanta; and great grandchildren, Aliza Williams and Avory Williams.
The family will receive friends on Friday from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at May and Smith Funeral Home in Sandersville.
