Washington County Recreation Department Reopens Outdoor Facilities

On Monday, June 1, the Washington County Recreation Department (WCRD) announced the reopening of outdoor facilities. The WRCD previously closed outdoor courts and fields as a result of the current COVID-19 situation.

The reopening, which is effective on June 1, 2020, reopens the Washington County Recreation Department baseball fields, softball fields, and outdoor basketball courts.

The facilities will be open from 7:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. The main gates to the WCRD will be closed at 5:00 P.M. Outdoor restrooms remain unavailable at this time.

Washington County Recreation Department staff encourages the use of social distancing and remind facility users that participation is “at your own risk.”
