Mr. Joseph Cooper of Tennille passed away on Saturday, June 19, 2021 at Fairview Park Hospital in Dublin. Graveside funeral services will be held on Friday, June 25, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. at the Rest Haven Memorial Gardens with Reverend Marque Harden officiating.

Joseph “Dirty Red” Cooper was born on December 25, 1968 in Macon to the parentage of the late Mr. Joseph Cooper, Sr. and the late Mrs. Barbara Cooper. At an early age, he joined the St. James AME Church. He was a graduate of Washington County High School Class of 1987. He was a man of many talents, specializing in his skills with a wrench and a pair of pliers. Joseph loved music, a good laugh, good food, family, and most of all – God.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Ms. Veronica Cooper.

Mr. Cooper leaves to cherish his memories, his girlfriend of five years, Ms. Mary Foreman, Dublin; two sisters, Mrs. Amanda (Milton) Walker, Milledgeville and Ms. Angelica Denise Cooper, Macon; two brothers, Mr. Jermaine (Michelle) Cooper, Milledgeville and Mr. Marcus (Tonya) Cooper, Macon; stepmother, Mrs. Lavern Cooper, Macon; stepbrother, Mr. Ronnie (Deborah) Butts, Jacksonville, Florida; two devoted uncles, Mr. Kenneth M. Daniel, Tennille and Mr. Willie Cooper, Macon; devoted niece, Ms. Eboni McKnight, Milledgeville; devoted nephew, Mr. D’ondre McKnight, Milledgeville; devoted friends, Mr. Rick (Mary) Wiley, Ms. Ann Marie Rogers, Ms. Shawanda Wiley Gainer, Ms. Ann Taylor, and Ms. Domita Hines; and a host of loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
