L.M. Pierce Funeral Home announces the death of Mr. John “The General” Mills, Jr. of Sandersville on Sunday, October 3, 2021 at the Dublinair Health and Rehab Center in Dublin.
Graveside funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. in the Mt. Olive Baptist Church Cemetery in Warthen. Reverend Roscoe Walls will officiate. Centers for Disease Control guidelines for the prevention of the spread of COVID-19 such as the wearing of face masks and practicing of social distancing will be required.
The body will lie in state in the Mt. Olive Baptist Church Cemetery from 10:00 A.M. until the hour of the service at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday. There will be no public viewing at the L.M. Pierce Funeral Home.
The family is receiving friends at the home of Ms. Glenda Womble located at 711 Alfred C. Carson Circle in Sandersville.
