Mr. C.B. Reeves passed away on Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at the Florence Hand Nursing Home in LaGrange. Graveside services were held on Friday, November 5, 2021, 2:00 P.M. at the Mount Olive Baptist Church in Warthen with Bishop Tommy Lee Brooks officiating.
C.B. was born in Washington County on June 24, 1929 to the parentage of the late Mr. Robert Reeves and the late Mrs. Mattie Pearl Womble Reeves. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Lessie Reeves; son, Mr. C. B. Reeves, Jr.; brothers, Mr. Johnnie L. Reeves and Mr. Warren L. Reeves; and sisters, Ms. Mattie Kate Reeves and Ms. Pinkie Lou Hunt.
Mr. Reeves leaves cherished memories to his daughters, Master Sergeant (Ret.) Patricia Baisden, Mrs. Celeste (Wendell) Roberts, Ms. Mattie Spencer-Henry, Mrs. Rachelle (Ronny) Riley, Ms. Rose Ahoussi, and Ms. Limetta Bigoms; sisters, Mrs. Ola Pearl (William) Hilson, Ms. Louise V. Butts, Ms. Rosa Rogers, and Ms. Dorothy Reeves; grandchildren, Mr. Eddie D.J. Baisden, Mr. Patrick A. Baisden, Mr. Terrance Mills, Jr., Mr. Lamar Raysor, Mr. Marquell Raysor, Mr. Steven L. Spencer, Jr., Ms. Marianna Henry, Mr. Wendell K. Roberts, Jr., Ms. Breshaundra Roberts, Mr. Quentin (Lowanda) Pitts, Ms. Towanda Pitts, Ms. Neyamka Johnson, Ms. Tresa Robinson, Mr. Curtis Bigoms, Damani K. Mizell, Mr. Jarvis Hillman, and Ms. Danielle Hillman; and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
