The Sandersville Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division has arrested four individuals in connection with shootings at both Ferncrest Apartments and Northside Apartments last month.
According to a social media post from The Sandersville Police Department, the Uniform Patrol Division of the Sandersville Police Department responded to shootings at Ferncrest Apartments and Northside Apartments on Wednesday, October 13.
The case was turned over to the Sandersville Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division; it was determined that over 30 rounds were fired between two groups resulting in damage to apartments and vehicles.
Several rounds went through an apartment, and one shot went through a tenant’s headboard in the bedroom.
According to The Sandersville Police Department, one of the four individuals arrested in connection with this case was a juvenile.
These shootings remain under investigation. More arrests are anticipated.
The Sandersville Police Department extended thanks to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office for assisting with an arrest in Tennille, and to the Georgia Department of Juvenile Justice for their assistance with arresting the juvenile.
