RICROCJENSKI “RICKEY” CULLENS, SR.

Mr. Ricrocjenski Cullens, Sr., affectionately known as “Rickey,” passed away on Tuesday, November 30, 2021. Funeral services were held on Saturday, December 11, 2021, at 1:00 P.M. in the Union Hill Baptist Church with Elder Patrick Wilson, Sr. officiating.

Rickey was born on September 25, 1961, Sandersville to the parentage of Mrs. Carolyn Wilson Bloodsaw and the late Mr. Douglas Cullens, Jr. At an early age, he joined the Union Hill Baptist Church in Tennille and sang in the choir. Mr. Cullens was a 1981 graduate of Washington County High School. Rickey was a member of their Marching Band as Lead Drum Major. He enjoyed life, his family, and gathering with friends. Following high school, Rickey relocated to Atlanta and found his passion for trucking. Mr. Cullens dedicated nearly thirty (30) years to the open roads while traveling through various cities and states. He was blessed with two sons. Rickey was preceded in death by his devoted grandparents, Mr. Douglas “Snoop” Cullens, Sr. and Mrs. Flora Mae Cullens; and his stepfather, Mr. Robert Lee Bloodsaw.

Mr. Cullens leaves to cherish his fond memories, a beloved mother, Mrs. Carolyn Wilson Bloodsaw, Sandersville; two sons, Mr. Ricrocjenski (Lashonda) Cullens, Jr., Augusta and Mr. Gabrielle Cullens, Gainesville, Florida; three sisters, Mrs. Kimbela Y. (Rev. Anthony) McMinn, Hendersonville, North Carolina, Mrs. Lashone Bloodsaw Alexander, Tennille, and Mrs. Alicia Cullens (Jerry) Watkins, Atlanta; one brother, Mr. Todd Cullens, III, Kileen, Texas; five grandchildren, Mr. Montavious R. Cullens, Mr. Marquis R. Cullens, Ms. Kennedi S. Cullens, Ms. Jordyn C’Esther Cullens, and Ms. Amellia Daisy Cullens; two aunts, Ms. Retha Lee Simmons, Tennille and Mrs. Bernestine Wilson, Tennille; three nieces, Ms. Morgan F. McMinn, Ms. Jordan Alexander, and Ms. Kiarra Cullens; six nephews, Mr. Jeremy D. James, Mr. Anthony (Diamond) McMinn, II, Mr. Justin J. Alexander, Mr. Jaxson Watkins, Mr. Treyveon Cullens, and Mr. Malik Cullens; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Lord, we thank you for blessing us with the time you allowed us to have with our dear beloved Son, Father and Brother: Mr. Ricrocjenski “Rickey” Cullens, Sr.
