Mr. Henry King of Davisboro passed away on Saturday, March 19, 2022, at the Washington County Regional Medical Center in Sandersville. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 26, 2022, at 1:00 P.M. in the Limestone Missionary Baptist Church with Reverend Johnny Ray Sampson, Sr. officiating. Interment will be held in the Church Cemetery.
Henry was born on January 22, 1947, to the late Ms. Nora King and the late Mr. Eddie Vining. He enjoyed spending time with his family, gardening, caring for his animals, and operating his bulldozer for over forty (40) years. Mr. King was preceded in death by his beloved sisters, Mrs. Clementine Edmunds and Mrs. Cubie Wright; and grandson, Mr. Harvey Harris, Jr.
Mr. King is survived by his wife, Mrs. Glenda Powell King, Davisboro; children, Ms. Verondia King (L.W. Hurst), Ms. Chandra Fussell, Mr. Chris (Danixsa) Fussell, Mr. Carl King (Jacqueline Wright), Mrs. Rosalyn (Reginald) Scott, and Mrs. Vikki (Tracy) Lewis; sisters, Mrs. Dathery (Freddie) Elbert, Mrs. Virg (Leon) Lawson, and Ms. Ruby King; brothers, Mr. John (Sharon) King and Mr. Don (Gennell) King; sisters-in-law, Mrs. Mattie (Willie) Jackson, Ms. Brenda Powell, and Ms. Kathleen Powell; brothers-in-law, Mr. Hubert (Rosena) Powell and Mr. Andrew (Amanda) Powell; nineteen grandchildren; thirty-two great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
