Mr. James William Phillips, age 59, of Tennille passed away on Tuesday, December 13, 2022. A family gathering to celebrate his life will be held at a later date.
Mr. Phillips was born in Macon and reared in Tennille. He was a graduate of the Tennille High School. Jim faithfully served in the Georgia National Guard. Mr. Phillips was a trained welder and spent most of his working career as a carpenter, most recently employed by Chris Veal Construction. In his spare time, Jim enjoyed fishing.
Survivors include his daughters, Amber Stovall of Arizona and Emily Stovall of Milledgeville; and siblings, Bobby Phillips of Tennille, Billy Joe Phillips of Tennille, and Gladys P. Glass of North Carolina.
