Sandersville Trash Amnesty Days Held on Friday, October 27 and Saturday, October 28

The City of Sandersville will soon observe two Trash Amnesty Days on Friday, October 27 and Saturday, October 28.

Trash trucks will run on Friday and Saturday to collect household debris.

Sandersville residents are encouraged to have their debris by the curbside no later than 7:00 a.m. each morning for pickup.

Additionally, dumpsters are being made available outside the Sandersville City Annex Building at 124 Hospital Road from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. both days.

Items that can be deposited for free include: appliances, furniture, cardboard, computers and other electronics, among further likewise objects.

Tires will be collected for a fee – $7 for tires sized up to 22 inches and $18 for tires exceeding 22 inches in size.

Paint, chemicals, and dead animals will not be accepted during the Trash Amnesty Days.

To drop off trash and bulk items at the City Annex Building during the two-day observance on Friday and Saturday, one must be a resident of Sandersville and able to present their most recent City of Sandersville utility bill and photo identification.
