Mrs. Betty Batts Gold, 76, passed away on May 25, 2020. Funeral services will be held on Friday May 29, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. in Ridgeland Heights Baptist Church with Rev. Tony Mimbs and Rev. Donnie Baker officiating. Burial will be in the Zeta Cemetery.
A visitation will be held at the Church from 1:00 P.M. until the hour of the service on Friday.
Mrs. Gold was a native of Dodge County and had lived in Washington County for the past 40 years. She was the daughter of the late Johnnie Oscar Batts and the late Callie Lee Bohannon Batts. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Gold; brothers, Howard Batts, Jimmy Batts and his wife Cookie; and a granddaughter, Kimberly Gold. Mrs Gold had retired as a nursing assistant.
Survivors include her daughters, Sandra Graham ( Doodle) of Rentz, Lisa Kelly (David) of Sandersville; sons, Randy Kirkland (Tracey) of Tennille, Wallace Gold of Davisboro; sister, Dell Baxter of Altoona, FL; 10 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren.
