Mr. Jimmie Whitfield passed away on Saturday, March 6, 2021 at Oconee Health and Rehabilitation in Oconee. Funeral services were held on Sunday, March 14, 2021 at 1:00 P.M. at the Holly Spring Baptist Church with Reverend Ronald Brawner officiating.
Jimmie was born on August 21, 1949 to the parentage of the late Mr. Jim Whitfield and the late Ms. Addie Lee Minor. To all that made his acquaintance, he was a unique and caring person with an irresistible smile that would light up any room. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Mr. Whitfield leaves to cherish his memories, two sisters, Mrs. Annie (Marion) Brookins and Ms. Jeanette W. Wilcher, Sandersville; four brothers, Mr. Frank (Debra) Whitfield, Mr. Morris Whitfield, and Mr. Eddie (Carol) Whitfield, New Haven, Connecticut, and Mr. Larry Bell, Germany; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
