Mrs. Doris Ann Wilcher of Sandersville, Georgia entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, August 3, 2021 at the Wrightsville Manor and Rehab Center.
Graveside funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 7, at 2:00 P.M. in the Sandersville City Cemetery. Reverend Henry L. Tanner will officiate. Centers for Disease Control guidelines for COVID-19 protocols will be followed. Social distancing and the wearing of face masks will be required.
Visitation will be held on Friday at the L.M. Pierce Funeral Home from 12:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M.
Doris was born on August 30, 1950 in Washington County, Georgia to the parentage of the late Mr. James Miller, Sr. and Mrs. Christine Miller. At an early age she joined the Springfield Baptist Church. She was a 1968 graduate of the T.J. Elder High School. Doris worked as a sitter for the elderly. She was preceded in death by brothers, James Miller, Jr., Charles Miller, and Elton Miller.
Mrs. Wilcher will be forever cherished by a loving companion, Mr. Henry Wilson; sons, Mr. Jeffrey Wilcher and Mr. Galin Wilcher; sisters, Ms. Kay Miller and Ms. Janice Miller; brothers, Mr. Terry Miller and Mr. Bernard Miller; grandsons, Jefferion Wilcher, Jamarrion Wilcher, and Deonti Wilcher; granddaughter, Kalia Wilcher; nephews, Darrell Miller and Jermel Miller; and a host of other relatives and friends.
